Game Jam: Super Trader 64

Super Trader 64 was created during the Ludum Dare Game Jam 40. The theme for the jam was “The more you have, the worse it is.” My programming partner and I came up with the idea of trying to dig specific items out of a bag. The more items you collected, the harder it was to find something specific. This concept was inspired by the frustration of looking for one specific item in a backpack or purse, right when you need it most.

The goal of the game is for the player to trade continuously until they obtain the one item they need to complete their baking recipe: butter.

I helped develop the core mechanic, UI design, as well as modeled, textured, and animated all models within a 12 hour window.
